The restaurant offers an English menu. I debated between hot or cold udon in the freezing wind but ultimately chose the cold beef udon (Niku Tororo Tsukimi) with kijoyu (raw soy sauce) over bukkake (rich soy sauce), as reviews recommended the cold version. When the dish arrived, the beauty of the udon left me stunned. The soy sauce came in a small teapot with an English note suggesting “add sparingly,” allowing diners to season to their taste—a rare and thoughtful touch. I picked up a strand of udon, and all my waiting in the cold was instantly forgiven. The noodles were incredibly chewy and bouncy, like udon-flavored gummies—unlike any udon I’ve had before. The beef was standard sukiyaki-style, while the raw egg and grated yam paired perfectly with the noodles, without any unpleasant smell. I finished every bite. Though I felt colder after eating, I was completely satisfied. In summer, I’m sure I’d love it even more. The wasabi was also excellent—fragrant and authentic, a first for me. The restaurant is small, clean, and well-heated, with decent service, though staff speak little English. I appreciated their fair “queue for all” policy. Note: cash only.

The food was absolutely outstanding!! It's a small local place, when we were there, it was full of locals. We needed to wait a few minutesy It's best to arrive right at 11, when we left, there was a long queue. But I think it went fast. We had one cold and one warm dish. The stuff were super sweet and helpful!

Had the cold beef udon. Beef was really tender and flavorful, udon texture perfectly matched the soya base clear soup. Need to come earlier to Q

Chewy Udon soaked and wrapped in the aromatic Curry, perfect hearty warm meal to start your day. I highly recommend you mix your curry and the raw egg yolk into the steamy rice, pair it with your beef slices! Heaven on earth. *Note*: The shop only accept cash, so none of your plastics work there

Missed this place last time. The decoration is cozy and cute. The Udon is thick yet soft, my first experience of this kind of texture, wonderful udon! Both the soup or the dry served udon, could skip the fried chicken. Will come back! update: revisit after a year, ordered the niku kamatama again after recent visit of Takamatsu. I would say this udon is better than all the udon i had in Takamatsu. The niku is so delicious! And udon is so tendor and just right!

We came here once and the noodles were already sold out at 1 pm. I recommend coming early on when they open. Next time we went there we managed to get in after waiting for 30 minutes around 12:30. There is a long queue outside almost always but the noodles are worth it. They also offer an English menu. They are known for their cold noodles. It is worth to try once.
